Joanna Chu Liao was born and raised in Hong Kong, where she learned to appreciate urban mixed cultures: from oriental tales to European practical and easy style. Her exposure to fashion started very early in life: Joanna’s family has been operating a garment business since decades - she was always fascinated and enchanted by both technical and creative aspects of the fashion industry.
